CAPF-2012 related RTI
As you’re aware, government launched a website http://rtionline.gov.in/ to make online RTI applications. So, I had filled this RTI myself, just out of curiosity to ‘test’ whether that website works or not. (and yes it works fine. By the way if you get ‘payment error‘ message after paying the fees via netbanking on that website, don’t worry, your R.T.I will be still registered.)
CAFP: 2010, 11 and 12
|Score of Last topper (Written + Interview)||Gen||SC||ST||OBC|
|2012 (out of 600)||278||249||237||270|
|Paper 1 (MCQ)||97||84||84||97|
|Paper 1+ Paper 2 (subject to 30% minimum qualifying marks in paper II=60 marks in Paper 2)||157||149||146||154|
^This information was also shared on UPSC’s website but putting it here for future reference, because they’ll remove it after some months.
Since I wanted to get maximum value out of my 10 rupees, application fees, I also asked a few additional questions in the R.T.I, as following:
Q. What was the Highest marks scored in Paper I, II and in final list by each category?
Lord Curzon: Such information is neither compiled nor maintained by the commission and hence cannot be provided.
Mrunal: then how do you make the merit list, if you don’t know the highest marks? You’re indeed totally awesome.
Side note to readers: From Navdeep Singh Suhag (Rank 4)’s interview, we know that he scored
Written total: 238
